Product Overview

 

GN-1838 is GOSPELL’s latest highly cost effective and high density MPEG-2 SD encoder which can perform MPEG-2 compression encoding for up to eight channels of analogue composite video and stereo pairs signals simultaneously, and then output the signal through ASI and IP interfaces after multiplexing. It supports 1+1 redundant output via dual ASI and (or) TS over IP interfaces, and with Web browser and SNMP management, these features make it more reliable, flexible and much more easy to deploy, in conventional or even IP based DTV head end systems.

· High picture quality in ultra low bit rate to reduce network overheads;

· Web browser and SNMP management for local and remote management and control;

· Dual Ethernet output, Supporting 1+1 redundancy

· MPEG TS-over-IP(7 x 188 Byte) output, support MPTS/SPTS mode

· Supports video encoding rate range from 1Mbps to 7Mbps

· Multiple resolutions: PAL: 720 x 576, 704 x 576, 640 x 576, 544 x 576, 352 x 576@50Hz

  NTSC: 720 x 480, 704 x 480, 640 x 480, 544 x 480, 352 x 480@60Hz

· Supports VBR/CBR video encoding

· Supports simple TS multiplex with auto-generated PSI/SI

· Low power consumption

· Front panel control and LCD display

· Auto-saving of user configuration for the recovery of previous working status
